LabRats Equipment Exchange Questionnaire

This questionnaire determines the demand for used and still valuable equipment from UCSB labs. If the survey results show there is sufficient demand, we will explore an efficient way to exchange high value equipment. If you make purchasing decisions for your research team, please answer the following questions.

1) Would you like to acquire high value used laboratory equipment from on-campus for free?

2) Would you like to acquire high quality used laboratory equipment from on-campus for credit based exchange system (i.e. you donate a piece of equipment into the system worth 10 credits, then can use those credits toward acquiring another piece)?

3) Do you have high value laboratory equipment collecting dust?

4) Do you think that there is currently an effective system of transferring high value surplus equipment between departments? What would make our current processes more effective?
