Short-Term Goals


  • Create the Chancellor's Sustainability Internship (CSI) Program.
  • Create an Environment and Sustainability General Education requirement.
  • Partner with Instructional Development on creating resources to incentivize and support faculty wanting to create new courses or modify existing courses to meet the proposed GE.
  • Develop a new PhD emphasis in environment and sustainability.
  • Raise awareness of the work of UCSB's leading researchers.
  • Raise student awareness of the courses on campus related to environment and sustainability.

Mid to Long-Term Goals


  • Develop a new PhD program in environment and sustainablity.

Past Accomplishments


  • Supported Instructional Development staff to attend a curriculum development workshop.
