Green Campus Program


The mission of the Green Campus program is to save energy at UCSB with student-led, energy conservation programs.

The Goals of the Green Campus program are to:

  • Save energy at UC Santa Barbara with a student-led campaign to identify and reduce waste through improvements in energy use behaviors, student purchasing decisions, and operational changes;
  • Build student awareness about the need to use energy efficiently and understand the relationship between energy efficiency and the environment; and
  • Strengthen academic learning by bringing students and faculty together on Green Campus initiatives.
