In collaboration with Southern California Edison (SCE) and the Community Environmental Council, labs may participate in rebates for old refrigerators ($35) or freezers ($50). SCE also provides another $50 after purchasing an Energy Star approved replacement. LabRATS is investigating how these rebates may be deposited into grant accounts and which UCSB accounts are eligible for the rebate program. If you are interested in participating in this program, please email Allen Doyle at doyle@lifesci.ucsb.edu
