Meet Anthony Zaragoza, our UC Carbon Neutrality Initiative Transportation Fellow and a fourth-year undergraduate student currently working towards a degree in Environmental Studies. Originating from Lemoore, CA, Anthony began his academic journey with the goal of pursuing a career in urban planning. In his role as a UC Carbon Neutrality Initiative Transportation Fellow, Anthony actively collaborates with stakeholders, develops draft proposals and budgets, and gathers crucial information on potential risks and liabilities. Alongside these responsibilities, he also gathers and nurtures innovative ideas, all while identifying projects designed to evaluate and reduce emissions stemming from transportation. He is driven by a genuine enthusiasm to learn more about policies, collaborate with professionals, and contribute to creating a more sustainable future.
