Elle Viefhaus is a sophomore Environmental Studies and Communication double major at UCSB. She is ecstatic to work with the University's Sustainability Department this year as the Communications and Outreach Intern. Last year, she served as the Environmental Awareness Chair for Santa Catalina North Hall where she organized various sustainability-focused events, and this year has joined the Environmental Leadership Incubator to develop a project dedicated to science communication. Outside of this position, she is also involved with KCSB News and Women in Media. Elle is excited to connect members of the campus community to events, projects, and information provided by the UCSB Sustainability Department this year.
