Financial and Personnel Assistant
Hello! My name is Joseph. I am the Financial and Personnel Assistant for Campus Sustainability Programs(CSUS). My role supports the Sustainability Department in the areas of financial and travel processing, payroll, onboarding, reconciliation, and preparation of basic financial resource reports. I have over 10 years experience in customer service, retail, financial/loan analysis, and office management. Specifically in areas such as grocery retail, Financial Technology(Fintech), and mental health administration. My goals at UCSB are to make meaningful connections, grow as an individual and as a team! I am inspired by all the support UCSB has to offer and also inspired by all the tenured employees of campus! I strive to be that same inspiration for students and future employees. Music is a big part of my life. I grew up playing multiple instruments and was in every possible band my high school had to offer! You will find me at concerts, music festivals, and music stores all around California. In my downtime, you will find me creating and updating my hundreds of Spotify playlists, or scouting out new music on YouTube. I am a part of the LGBTQIA+ community and want to extend myself as a safe place for anyone needing support. You are heard, you are seen, you are enough and you matter!
