Michelle Shteynberg

Michelle Shteynberg is a fourth-year Environmental Studies, B.S. major from Los Angeles, CA. She is currently an intern for UCSB Sustainability's Climate Action Initiative after spending two years working as the Health Campus Network Program Coordinator. She is passionate about the intersectionality between the natural and built environment, sparking her interest in environmental planning, policy, and climate mitigation. As a Carbon Neutrality Fellow, she focuses on raising awareness about sustainability programs and resources on campus as well as uplifting student voices to promote solutions to climate resilience issues in our community. Outside of this position, she is a student undergraduate representative for The Green Initiative Fund and is a writer for the Opinion section of the Daily Nexus.
