Michelle Shteynberg is a fourth-year Environmental Studies, B.S. major from Los Angeles, CA. She is currently an intern for UCSB Sustainability's Climate Action Initiative after spending two years working as the Health Campus Network Program Coordinator. She is passionate about the intersectionality between the natural and built environment, sparking her interest in environmental planning, policy, and climate mitigation. As a Carbon Neutrality Fellow, she focuses on engaging the campus community in the Climate Action Plan as well as raising awareness about sustainable transportation options to promote solutions to climate resiliency issues in our community. Outside of this position, she is a student undergraduate representative for The Green Initiative Fund and is a writer for the Opinion section of the Daily Nexus.
